Already Qualified?

Qualified divers are welcome to join at any time. See the SAA website for details of cross over qualifications.

or Beginner?

We provide free training to new members. Courses start each September and run through the winter. The aim is to provide one to one instruction wherever possible, so you can progress at your own rate yet still be qualified ready for the next diving season.

Lectures are held on Wednesdays at the Three Bridges Cricket club in Three Bridges Road, Crawley. 

Pool training takes place at Crawley's K2 Leisure Centre on Thursdays from 21:00 to 22:00.

To join you will need to pass a:-

Basic Swimming Test

1.     6 lengths breast-stroke  
2.     3 lengths back-stroke  
3.     2 lengths breast-stroke wearing a 10lb weight-belt
*  (weight is variable depending on the candidate's build)
4.     Float on back for 5 minutes with minimum leg/arm movement  
5.     Tread water for 1 minute with arms above head  
6.     Surface dive 6 times in deep end to recover objects  
7.     Half a length underwater  

What will it Cost?

Our annual membership fee is  £150-00
This is split into two subscriptions of £75-00 due in March and £75-00 due in September.
and covers use of the pool each Thursday evening, i.e. no entry fee to pay on the door.

In addition there is a one off joining fee of £55-00 which includes the S.A.A. joining fee.

There is also the cost of a medical which must be taken before getting into the water. This varies from £50-00 to £65-00 depending on where you get it done.

Try Dives

Try dive sessions can be arranged for groups up to 10
